Remara launches investment app platform, giving investors more options to manage their portfolio
The leading investment manager has launched its app, simplifying the investment process for all Australians.
Australian alternative asset manager Remara has launched a purpose-built app that gives investors direct access to its investment platform offering.
The Remara investment app has been built to help Australians build and preserve their wealth. It gives investors access to the full credit spectrum, enabling investors to select a risk and liquidity profile specific to their needs.
The app is now available for download on iPhone and Android, giving investors the ability to manage their portfolio with the same features seen in banking and share trading apps. The new app signals Remara’s continuing ambition to expand its position in the market by harnessing technology to offer investors secure, consistent returns and access to Remara’s suite of Funds.
Commenting on the launch of the new app, managing partner Andrew McVeigh said the new investment app creates a level playing field that gives all investors the same high return, no matter the size of their investment, with a minimum entry point of $1,000.
“We set out to give everyday Australians access to institutional grade credit investing for the first time, enabling all investors the ability to access their portfolio of alternative investments in one place with easy portfolio management access to be able to check up on their portfolio,” Mr McVeigh said.
“Remara is breaking down the barriers to make it simpler and more accessible to invest with a credit offering that specifically addresses the challenges many investors are facing. We launched the app because we know that investors want the tools to be more closely involved in their investments.”
Remara has spent the last six years proving the credit investing platform with institutional investors. “We are now opening up the same platform with the same rates and protections to all Australians. The timing is right – it is a challenging investment environment out there right now. Investors are up against high interest rates and inflation. And while property prices have stabilised, equity markets are volatile and the recent stock market crash means that investors are actively seeking out more stable alternatives,” Mr. McVeigh said.
“Our experience, expertise and wide-reaching network allow us to source and offer unique investment opportunities otherwise inaccessible to investors. Remara’s innovative and hands-on approach offers investments that maximise returns while limiting risk. This means investors can access high-quality assets that offer portfolio diversification, wealth generation and preservation of your capital investment.”
Remara has developed a suite of credit funds that offer investors the opportunity to select their position within the capital stack that corresponds to their desired risk. The funds provide returns from 5.50% for lower risk and faster access to your capital through to 16% for investors seeking growth and are able to invest over a longer horizon. The credit fund platform offers liquidity profiles as short as daily redemptions through to quarterly redemption windows, offering investors options that suit their needs.
“There is no other investment app in the market that allows investors to access multiple funds and opportunities across credit and real estate. While several share trading platforms democratise share investing and equity investing, you don’t really have that on other forms of investment classes in Australia – until now. Our competitive advantage lies in our ability to generate unique investment opportunities that others don’t have the means to take advantage of,” Mr McVeigh said.
