David Verschoor

As managing partner of Remara, David is focussed on Debt Capital Markets and Private Credit. With 25 years’ experience in investment banking and finance David was co- founder of Grow Finance in 2016.

Beginning his career as a credit analyst at Westpac, David quickly advanced in his career becoming responsible for capital raising and trading of corporate debt for BNP Paribas in Tokyo and Hong Kong.

Making the move back to Australia in 2009 he went on to raise capital for Australia’s largest nonbank financial institutions which included mortgage-backed debt, as well as consumer and auto finance at Natixis. Before too long becoming the Head of Capital Markets- Asia Pacific.

With a Bachelor of Science majoring in Information Technology, as well as a Master of Applied Finance and Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking, David brings a wealth of industry experience and knowledge to Remara.
